Shelter
Doorways' Safehouse and Emergency Shelter programs provide both basic life needs of shelter, food, childcare, transportation, and other supportive services in a home-like atmosphere.
The staff help women and families set and achieve goals for safety, physical and mental health needs, finances, employment, housing, childcare and long-term stability. The warm and caring environments provide individually-tailored support to assist residents in developing the skills and resources they need to live safe, secure and self-sufficient lives.
